Remarkable Passages in the Life of William Kiffin

From the Preface:

According to the knowledge of the current publisher, the work which is now in the readers hand has been out of print for many years, with access to its contents being only that which is available in various digital facsimile formats. This neglect upon such an important figure such as William Kiffin is rather unfortunate, due to the simple fact that the majority of church historians with any acquaintance with that society known as Baptists readily admit that Kiffin is perhaps the most influential and important figure among the English Particular Baptists during the seventeenth century.

While there are many works currently available for an in-depth scholarly examination of Mr. William Kiffin’s life and ministry,[1] yet none are as readable as this delightful work originally edited by Rev. William Orme. The desire of the publisher in placing it back into print, is that the Christian today will be encouraged and motivated by Kiffin's willingness to contend for Biblical truth while suffering separation, persecution, enduring hardship and using many of his own resources and gifts for the expansion of Christ's kingdom.  Such a biography clearly teaches us that there is much more than a memory contained in its pages, it is a powerful witness to the love of God toward His church in and through all trials.

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom.8:38,39
